I finally customized my boring header and I'm happy with the new one. Most of the blogs I visited had such lovely headers and mine was...well,just a header, nothing special. Thing is, this blog has come to be my second home and when I sign in, I want to have a coffee or tea--don't drink none of them--and sit back on the couch with my laptop. Again, for this header, PowerPoint came to the rescue.
I just have to say something more. I love this blog and I love my followers. I never thought it would so much fun to have a blog. I always look forward to your comments. Thank you for your support, thank you for commenting, thank you for following. Now, you know where the kitchen is, get yourselves a coffee/tea too and join me on the couch so we can write those bestsellers...and admire my header:-)
I know what you mean. I feel like blogging opened a whole new world for me. It's a great outlet to express my thoughts and writing has always helped me solidify ideas in my head. The posts are as much for me as they are for others, and I love learning through the discussion in the comments.

You're right. I feel I'm learning a lot from my blog posts too. Thanks for visiting, Angela.
ReplyDeletelol, I did feel like this too at one point last year and started learning coding to better my blog without having to pay a designer for it. However don't get carried away. You have to make time to write a best seller after all.
ReplyDeleteOkay, you're adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow, and best of luck in your agent search.
Love the header - and the blog background :) Nice to 'meet' you!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind comment, Tara. It's very encouraging.
ReplyDeleteI do like your new header. A thought about the happiness of your heroine. A premise for your novel : in the body of it, if your heroine is happy, your readers are bored. At the end, if your heroine is unhappy and the plot unfulfilled, your readers won't be happy or return for your 2nd novel. Just a thought. Have only success in your publication dreams, Roland
ReplyDeleteHi Roland,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great tip. It makes sense. I'll see what I can do.

Hey Liz, your blog looks great! I've been thinking about revamping mine.
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging since December 2005. I've missed two days during that time because we didn't have power out here in the sticks.
Blogging grows on you and if you stick with it I think it improves writing skills....or at least they have for me.
Good work.
